JOIN US FOR AN UNFORGETTABLE EVENING OF PERFORMANCES!
Featuring of 80 of the Bay Area's top artists. This is a rare opportunity to see 4 hours of non-stop soul and energy on three stages in celebration of East Bay Center's 50th Anniversary.
Walk into our state-of-the-art facility and be immersed in the sounds of tenor saxophone titan Howard Wiley leading an all-star set of Bay Area jazz luminaries. Go upstairs to catch a Brahms violin concerto or Cirque du Soleil style aerial dance. Take in Corner, an award winning theater piece about growing up in NYC- just back from Moscow, an all star Brazilian Samba and Capoeira floor show, or a Ghanaian highlife style party led by CK Ladzekpo and Francis Akotuah. Step out onto the hottest dance floor anywhere in the East Bay that night with Cuban artist Susana Arenas leading the steps accompanied by a stellar salsa conjunto. From Mexican Son to rap, hip-hop dance crews and soul singer Valerie Troutt, this will be a one of a kind evening.
Bring your thirst and your appetite- local food trucks, breweries and winemakers will be onsite all night offering special menu items. The party is BART accessible and ample parking will be available.
Proceeds from the event will go to support our 5,000 young student artists who are being taught by the talented artists you will see and meet. Performances are being underwritten by generous sponsors, including Fleishhacker Foundation Special Arts Fund.
This is a community event and to ensure all of our community members have access to participate, we are offering discounted tickets. For more information, contact Sara Rader, Director of Individual Giving, firstname.lastname@example.org, (510) 210-0727.
